Report: Aaron Donald Retirement Still On The Table

Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Von Miller gave some insight when asked on the reports that his teammate, Aaron Donald, might retire following Super Bowl win

During the Rams’ championship parade, it sure looked at sounded like Aaron Donald would be returning to Los Angeles. But now, things are apparently up-in-the-air.

With Training Camp looming, Donald is still expecting a contract extension from the Rams, and he won’t settle for anything less than what he believes he’s owed.

According to Rams insider Cameron DaSilva, Aaron Donald could even retire if the Rams can’t meet his monetary demands.

Aaron Donald is far and away the best player on the best team in the NFL in the Rams. And you might even be able to make an argument that he’s one of the best players of all time.

The interior defensive lineman has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first eight seasons and has already won the DPOY three times. At 30 years old, Donald is coming off his first Super Bowl Championship and has absolute nothing left to prove in his Hall of Fame career.

But something tells me when push comes to shove, we’ll still be seeing Aaron Donald leading the Rams onto the field for some more years to come.
