Stephen A. Smith was paired with Christopher "Mad Dog" Russo on Wednesday and it got just as crazy as we all thought it was going to go

Stephen A. Smith is spilling some tea about the Philadelphia Sixers’ rumored Kyrie Irving offer.

This week The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported Irving had three opt-in-and-trade options on the table. Here’s what Smith is reporting:

“[Irving was] insulted, he’s looking for other teams, throws out a whole bunch of smoke and mirrors.

“Even had the Philadelphia 76ers on the phone, willing to give him a 3-year deal, guarantee him a 3-year deal, but there was no way in hell he was interested in going to Philadelphia and rejoining James Harden or anything like that, so that was a smokescreen.”

Smith also says, “He’s been telling people he wants to be in L.A., he’s been telling people he wants to wear the same uniform that Kobe Bryant once wore.”

Kyrie has been in the headlines a lot over the past year, and it’s fitting that he and Durant are both causing more headlines.

Wherever Kyrie ends up expect more of his drama to follow.
