Steph Curry Seemingly Shuts Down Kevin Durant Trade to Warriors Rumors

Looks like Steph Curry doesn’t want Kevin Durant to return to the Warriors.

Speaking with reporters from the American Century Championship golf tournament in South Lake Tahoe, Curry declined to endorse his team’s prospective trade for Nets star Kevin Durant. In fact, the four-time champion expressed excitement about chasing more rings with Golden State’s current core intact.

He pretty much shut it down.

Via NBC Bay Area:

“The rumor mill and all that stuff is part of the nature of the NBA and league,” Curry said, per Monte Poole of NBC Sports Bay Area. “You take it for what it is…You know how quickly things can change, but I like where we’re at.”

Odds aren’t great that Durant will take his talents to San Francisco, basically. Curry’s confidence in the Warriors’ chances going forward with his guys pretty much spells the end of the Durant to the Warriors rumors.

Can’t blame Curry for not wanting KD this time around.
