Does Steph Curry know something about the Warriors’ pursuit of Kevin Durant that we don’t?

Last week, Curry referenced the “rumor mill” when asked about his feelings towards Golden State making a move at KD during the offseason.

But today, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst was quick to point out that while Steph Curry was dismissive on the topic, he didn’t rule out a potential partnership with Kevin Durant.

“Steph Curry’s got the kind of clout where he can shut this down, but he’s not,” Windhorst said today on “Get Up”.

Obviously, it’s still a long shot for the Warriors to pull off the blockbuster deal to bring Kevin Durant back to The Bay, but it’s not completely out of the question.

Steph Curry is one of the smarter players in the league, and he knows it would be foolish for him to completely deny any interest in playing alongside KD again.

It’s hard to imagine an NBA duo as lethal as Kevin Durant and Steph Curry over the past decade+, and perhaps we’ll see them pair again in the future.
