Fans were not happy after the ESPN audio feed for the Minnesota Timberwolves – Memphis Grizzlies first round game went fuzzy.
This is how it all sounded if you missed the game.
Dear @espn @ESPNNBA, please bring back the painful, mind numbing audio issues of the broadcast and remove @stephenasmith from the play-by-play call. Thank you. pic.twitter.com/3H9VwEaEjT

ESPN has gone several minutes having the studio crew calling the Grizzlies Timberwolves game after things went VERY wrong with the normal audio feed. pic.twitter.com/OKfXI6srBZ

While the sounds from the audio issue were painful enough, ESPN decided to throw in talking head Stephen A. Smith and Jalen Rose to do commentary while the crew had difficulty fixing the audio.
Fans shared their mixed reactions to the whole situation.
Should be a TNT broadcast throughout the playoffs. ESPN is hot garbage, nobody wants to hear Stephen A Smith on a Saturday

What the hell am I listening to on @espn ??? I’m trying to watch the @NBA playoffs and it sounds like a radio broadcast. If this continues, I’m shutting it off. Go back to two people calling the game from the sidelines. #NBAPlayoffs #NBA @stephenasmith @JalenRose @Espngreeny

All NBA games should be broadcast by Mike Greenberg and Stephen A Smith with zero crowd noise

The broadcast was able to fix their audio issues in the second quarter.
Hopefully we never have to hear that awful sound or Stephen A. Smith do color commentary for a game ever again.
