The NBA offseason has been pretty quiet as of late.
With the National Football League in full swing, the NBA and its players and coaches have taken a backseat in the news. But leave it to a hacked Twitter account to drum up some interest in the NBA during the NFL feeding frenzy. Philadelphia Sixers head Coach Doc Rivers quietly made some news over the weekend, when it was revealed his twitter account was liking several tweets about porn videos. In fact eight of Doc’s last nine tweets he liked were porn videos.
You can see some of Doc’s likes below:
Sixers beat reporter Paul Hudrick was on top of the story, and reached out the Sixers, who claimed Doc’s account was hacked.
“Confirmed through a source that Doc Rivers’ Twitter account was compromised and the team was working overnight to address it. All of the content has since been unliked and Rivers has full access to his account again.”
Unfortunately they couldn’t get back access immediately.
Apparently there is still an issue with resetting his password that the team is working with Twitter to resolve.
There was some pretty funny reactions to the whole hacking excuse.

Nice of you to spread that Doc's account was hacked, even though no one believes that to be the case. So are doing this for better access or do you not have the guts to call out this blatant lie.
BTW I personally couldn't give a crap what Doc liked, that's for him to enjoy.— DosVaper (@DosVaper) September 17, 2022
Now that’s what a hacked account looks and sounds like!

Glenn loves porn and 2nd round exits. Wondering if the porn addiction started after or before the playoff choke jobs?

I gotta come clean here. I don’t believe him!!!

Don’t believe it. Who hacks someone and just likes stuff? He must be fired. Use it as an excuse to fire him for playing DJ in the playoffs last year.

Luckily for Doc this whole controversy happened over a weekend during the beginning of the NFL season.
It’s always strange to think about a why a Hacker goes to the trouble of hacking your account, and then only likes a handful of salacious tweets. Welcome to the Social Media Age.
We believe you Doc. wink, wink.
Doc and the 76ers secured the first seed in the Eastern Conference last season, and defeated the Washington Wizards in five games in the first round of the playoffs, but lost in the semifinals to the Atlanta Hawks in seven games.
