Rumor: Boston Celtics To Be Working On Blockbuster Trade Involving Kevin Durant

The Kevin Durant rumors are already running wild.

The Nets superstar has requested a trade out of Brooklyn according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

As the Nets prepare to move one of the most valuable trade assets ever on the market, the entire roster will available to discuss in deals, sources tell ESPN. Teams have been calling on Durant, and the Nets will certainly look for a historic return on players and draft picks.

After Kyrie Irving recently announced he’s opting into his 2022-23 player option to remain with the Nets this season, most assumed the Nets were going to try and run it back with both Kyrie and KD. But Durant is currently working with Brooklyn general manager Sean Marks to be dealt to a new team.

Durant has the Phoenix Suns and Miami Heat on his radar, they are also the current favorites.

According to Brian Scalabrine, the Celtics could put together a strong trade package for Durant if they’re willing to part with Jaylen Brown.

“He loves Marcus Smart, he loves Ime Udoka, and he respects Jayson Tatum. There’s a lot of things going on here. It’s not just, ‘Ah, the Celtics are good.’ There’s real connection here.”

Hopefully this drags on for at least another month or  so,  I mean who doesn’t love all these rumors.
