Ben Simmons is not feeling the love these days.

Simmons was able to avoid the Philadelphia 76ers once he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets, in fact he was able to duck everyone, he never played a single minute this season. He wasn’t happy in Philly and requested a trade, he was cleared physically to be traded, and then out of nowhere he came down with back issues. Things took yet another unexpected turn as it was revealed that Simmons would now have to get surgery on a herniated disc, which will keep him sidelined for at least another four months.

It was also recently revealed that while his back was supposedly injured, Ben played 23 hours straight of Call of Duty.

The reactions to the back surgery news have not been good, with many questioning the way in which Simmons even got injured in the first place. After all, it’s not like he has been playing any basketball. Paul Pierce took to Twitter to ask a great question.

“I’m trying to figure out did I miss that game Ben Simmons hurt his back when did this all happen,” Pierce said.

Nets fans, and basketball fans in general are pretty mystified by Simmons, and what the hell is going on. I personally don’t care if he ever plays again, but he should give back the money he collected to do his job. You don’t get paid not to play.
