One Wild Russell Westbrook Stat That He’s Leading the NBA All-Time In Is Pretty Telling

Russell Westbrook knows you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

And we know Russell is not shy about shooting. He’ll shoot from pretty much anywhere, even though he’s not considered the greatest shooter. Russ is really great when he’s attacking the rim, but even close to the basket Russell has troubles.  Since they started counting stats on missed layups,  no in the NBA has missed more of them  than  Russell  Westbrook.

Russ leads the NBA is missed layups with almost 3,000.

I don’t think  anyone is too surprised that Russell leads the NBA in missed layups,  but how many missed layups is probably going to raise an eyebrow or two.

Not only is he the all time leader in missed layups, he also  lead the league this past season.

Just imagine if he could figure out how to finish at the rim…
