Despite the Nets holding firm on their asking price for Kevin Durant, the trade rumors continue to swirl.

Today, ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that one team is ‘most determined’ to land Durant to this day: the Miami Heat.

However, Woj would go on to say that the Heat (and Suns) would need another team to join to a potential blockbuster deal in order to get it done.

The Miami Heat have been linked to several stars including Kyrie Irving and now Donovan Mitchell. But it really seems like team president Pat Riley is exhausting all of his options in order to try to land Kevin Durant for the time being.

For the past few seasons, the Heat have been amongst the top teams in the Eastern Conference, but the addition of a player of Durant’s caliber would obviously put them over the edge.

The clock is ticking, but the Heat seem like the most likely team to pry Kevin Durant away from the Nets… for now.
