Nets Reportedly ‘Exasperated’ By The Entire Ben Simmons Situation

You have to wonder if the Brooklyn Nets might be regretting bringing in Ben Simmons in part of their James Harden trade right about now.

All postseason, it has been reported that Simmons was gearing up for a return. And according to multiple insiders, the point guard was set to join the Nets for Game Four on Monday night.

But after telling the team that he still suffers from back soreness, Ben Simmons has been ruled out for Game Four — and likely won’t be returning until (maybe) next season.

On Monday, NBA’s Brian Windhorst said that some people in the Nets organization have grown sick and tired of the entire Ben Simmons ordeal.

Per Windhorst:

“When I checked it out and talked to people involved, they were exasperated.

They were just like, “He woke up, and his back hurt, and he wasn’t able to play.” And there wasn’t much more to say.”

After falling behind the Celtics 3-0 in the series, the Nets will have to try to stave off an embarrassing sweep when they take the floor in Brooklyn on Monday night.

Once again, Simmons will be in attendance, sitting on the sidelines, while nobody’s really sure if he’s injured or just not ready to face the pressure.

Either way, the Nets have a serious Ben Simmons problem. And at this point, it sounds like they’re well aware of that reality.
