Is LeBron James planning to team up with Steph Curry sometime in the near future?

While LeBron is wrapping up a tumultuous season with the Lakers, he was asked during the latest episode of HBO’s “The Shop” which NBA player he would want to play with currently.

LeBron was quick to point to Warriors point guard Steph Curry as the guy he wants to pair with next.

“In today’s game? S—, there’s some motherf—ers in today’s game, but Steph Curry. Steph Curry is the one that I would want to play with for sure in today’s game… Right now it’s Steph.”

LeBron James would go on to explain why Steph Curry over the other rising stars across the NBA.

“I love everything about that guy,” he said.  “Lethal. When he gets out of his car you’d better guard him right from the moment he pulls up the arena. As soon as he gets out of his car… You might want to guard him when he gets out of bed. I swear to God… Listen, there are obviously some other motherf—ers too… Luka cold. Luka a bad motherf—er too.”

During last year’s All-Star Game, LeBron James and Steph Curry showed some natural chemistry on the floor. And after the game, LeBron shared how excited he was to play with Steph.

“Finally got to share the floor with @StephenCurry30! Well overdue and I loved every single second!! #GreatestShooterOfAllTime #ChangedHowTheGameIsPlayedByHimselfAlone #RespectBeyondWords #JustSomeKidsBornInAKRON,” he tweeted at the time.

While Steph Curry and LeBron James would undoubtedly love to play with each other at some point before they retire, it’s hard to imagine that’ll come next season. Crazier things have happened, though.
