Los Angeles Lakers megastar LeBron James wants to see his dreams of owning an NBA franchise become a reality, and he’s setting his sights in Las Vegas.
Speaking on an upcoming episode of HBO’s “The Shop,” the Los Angeles Lakers star opened up about his desires for the next chapter of his career once his playing days conclude.
“Yeah, I wanna buy a team, for sure. … I want a team in Vegas,” James said.

The NBA is going to expand, it’s not a matter of if but when. Commissioner Adam Silver recently denied a rumor that the 30-team league was considering Las Vegas to host an expansion franchise.
James just became the first active player with a net worth of $1 billion, so yea, he can afford it.
