It seems like LeBron James has become synonymous with playoff basketball for the past ten years. So even if you’re not the biggest fan of the Lakers star, this year feels a little different.
After a brutal stretch of offseason moves last year followed by injuries and poor play, the LA Lakers missed out on the postseason and play-in tournament altogether this year.
But according to LeBron James, that won’t turn into a pattern. While watching all of last night’s NBA Playoffs action, James took to Twitter to declare that he wouldn’t be missing out on the postseason in the future.
“I can/will NOT miss the post season again for my career! This shit HURT. Ok back to watching these games,” he said.

Despite the Lakers tumultuous season, LeBron James proved that he can still dominate.
The veteran won the scoring title in the NBA — nothing 30.3 PPG to go along with 6.2 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Even if LeBron is confident he’ll right the ship in LA, people around the league aren’t so sure. The Lakers are still saddled with Russell Westbrook’s massive contract and Anthony Davis’ banged-up body for next season, with little wiggle room with their salary cap.
If the Lakers want to keep LeBron James happy, they’re going to need to get creative when re-structuring their roster this offseason.
