Kyrie Irving is keeping an eye on all the latest news.

Kyrie Irving has been laying relatively low the last month or so, mostly because all the focus has been on the Kevin Durant trade talks. Fox Sports analyst Ric Bucher brought Irving back into the spotlight this week and said on his podcast that Irving had some wild stipulations that he wanted to be included in a new contract with the Brooklyn Nets.

Via On The Ball With Ric Bucher:

“Joe Tsai has already shown he’s willing to play hardball with Kyrie by taking a max extension off the table almost immediately. Now, part of that may be Kyrie’s doing. I’m told he wanted his new contract to guarantee he wouldn’t have to play more than 60 games in a season and would not have to play any back-to-backs, which he apparently referred to as inhumane.”

No one really thought anything sounded too  strange, only because it’s Kyrie Irving, the man who thinks the Earth is flat. The surprising part of all this is that Irving decided to respond. He tweeted a gif suggesting the report is cap.

Irving then followed up the Cap Tweet with another tweet about the media:

“When you’re ready to Break free from the media’s control over your subconscious thoughts and emotions, meet me on One of my platforms and let’s chop it up. We the A11Even tribe love our conversations about the TRUTH and what is truly happening. Welcome to the PARADIGM SHIFT”

Kyrie is definitely a different kind of cat.
