Karl-Anthony Towns’ Dad Loses Major Bet To Ja Morant After T-Wolves Series Loss

The NBA Twitter community is blowing up after T-Wolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns said he plans to watch gorillas fighting for his pregame ritual

Ja Morant got the last laugh against Karl-Anthony Towns and the Timberwolves on Friday night.

After the Memphis Grizzlies sent the Wolves home following the intense back-and-forth series, Morant made sure to rub it in.

After the game, Ja Morant and some of his teammates were seen dancing on the Timberwolves logo as they were heading into the locker room.

After that, it was time for Ja Morant to settle a big bet he just won.

During the series, Morant and Karl-Anthony Towns dad agreed that whoever lost the series would have to wear the other team’s jersey.

During his postgame interview with ESPN, Towns’ dad had to take Morant’s jersey.

Ja Morant proved to be the difference-maker down the stretch in all of the Grizzlies’ wins over Karl-Anthony Towns and the Timberwolves all series long, and that continued on Friday night.

Despite the Timberwolves leading for most of the game (which has been a trend all series), Morant took over in the fourth quarter.

Now, Ja Morant and the Grizzlies will take on the heavily-favored Warriors in the next round of the NBA Playoffs.

Perhaps the least Karl-Anthony Towns could do is take his dad on a vacation now that he has some free time.
