Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's son, Adam, has been given a rather light sentence after reportedly stabbing his neighbor in a dispute over trash cans

NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had some critical comments towards LeBron James and his activism when speaking recently.

“I admire the many things he has done…sending a whole school to college, wow, that’s amazing, his thoughtfulness and willingness to back it up with his wallet…gotta give him credit for that…but some of the things he’s done he should be embarrassed about,” Kareem said following a presentation ceremony.

On Tuesday, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar shared a heartfelt apology for what he said regarding LeBron James.

“All I have to say is this: I was there to give Carmelo Anthony the NBA Social Justice Champion Award. I’ve been talking to the press since high school, that’s 60 years of making statements. And I haven’t always gotten it right. And Sunday was one of those nights,” Abdul-Jabbar said Monday on SiriusXM NBA Radio, via ESPN.com.

This isn’t the only time Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has been critical of LeBron James. He also threw shade at some of LeBron’s on-court antics.

For now, LeBron James hasn’t responded to any of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s comments. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he just lets the former great talk without worrying too much.
