Is Giannis Antetokounmpo eyeing a potential move to Chicago some day?

This week, the Bucks superstar raised some eyebrows with comments made about the idea of playing with the Chicago Bulls some day.

“I think anybody you ask that question that plays basketball, if he said no, he’d be a liar,” Antetokounmpo said in the interview with Fox 32 Chicago. “It’s a team that won multiple championships; it’s a team that one of the greatest players, if not the greatest player to ever play this game, played for. So it’s a no-brainer; everybody would love to play for Chicago.”

Giannis Antetokoumpo would go on to say that he’s committed to Milwaukee… for now.

“Down the line, you never know. You never know how life brings it, maybe I play for Chicago,” Antetokounmpo said. “But right now I’m committed to Milwaukee.”

Of course, Chicago Bulls fans are already losing their minds with the possibility of Giannis playing in Chicago.

No, Giannis Antetokoumpo will not be joining the Bulls any time soon.

After all, he still has four years left on his mega-deal signed in 2020, and by the sounds of it, he has every intention of sticking with Milwaukee throughout that deal.

So far, Giannis Antetokounmpo is on a pace to become the greatest Milwaukee Buck of all-time. And it wouldn’t come as a huge surprise if he plays the remainder of his career there.

However, it’s interesting that the allure of the MJ era, along with playing in Chicago, still means something to NBA stars such as Giannis.
