It’s safe to say Lakers new head coach Darvin Ham isn’t necessarily feeling any “pressure” to bring a championship culture back to LA.

When asked about the magnitude of his new gig, Ham referenced his tough upbringing, including the time he got shot in his hometown going up.

Darvin Ham was pressed with an array of tough questions during his introductory conference, but the main takeaway was his comments on point guard Russell Westbrook.

To put an end to all the speculation surrounding Westbrook’s future with the lakers, Ham indicated that he still believes Russ can be dominant.

“Russ is one of the best players our league has ever seen, and still there’s still a ton left in that tank,” he said.

While Darvin Ham will have his work cut out for him in LA, he appears to be up to the challenge.
