The War of words between Draymond Green and Cedrick Maxwell continues.
The Boston Celtics had plenty to say about Draymond Green’s Game 2 antics, specifically Celtics great Cedric Maxwell. Maxwell, a two-time NBA champion with Boston in 1981 and 1984, called out Green for starting up with Grant Williams and Jaylen Brown.
“Let me just say this to you, and I am going to be as clear as I can,” Maxwell said. “That (expletive) Draymond was doing? During the 1980s, he’d (have) got knocked the (expletive) out.”
Green caught wind of Maxwell’s comments and didn’t hold back in his lengthy response. He took issue Maxwell and other former NBA players comparing today’s game to back when they played in the league.

Maxwell heard Draymond’s comments, and he too fired back. Asking Draymond to speak to his Daddy.
