The Ben Simmons hate is real.

The Brooklyn Nets star Ben Simmons could be a trade candidate in the offseason. Ben has become the punching bag for NBA fans everywhere, and Twitter has made its feelings on Ben clear, they don’t like him. When Simmons is on the floor there’s actually a lot to like, he’s really a great talent, with just a few shooting issues.

But as we know Ben didn’t play one single minute this season, yet he got paid to play. Ben has struggled with herniated disc injuries at different points of his career and didn’t end up playing a single game in the 2021-22 season. Apparently his mental health caused his back pain.

There’s also another report that had Ben playing 23 hours straight of video games while he was dealing with his supposed back problems.

After the tremendous amount of backlash Ben received over the last year, specifically the last few weeks, Ben took to Twitter to send a message. Simmons Retweeted his fiance Maya Jama‘s old tweet.

It was straight to the point:

“Keep my name out your nasty mouth”

Twitter reacted to Ben’s message:

It’s hard to predict what will happen with the Brooklyn Nets this offseason.

Between Kyrie and Ben there’s only so much drama one team can take. As far as trying to keep Ben’s name out of our filthy mouths?

Yea, that’s not happening.
