It’s hard to imagine where Andrew Wiggins would be right now without getting the COVID vaccine prior to last season.

As it stands, Wiggins ultimately let a California mandate that would’ve forced him out of Warriors’ home games dictate his decision. And luckily for the Warriors , he caved, or else it’s hard to imagine them ending up as NBA Champions.

Still, Wiggins wishes he didn’t have to take the shot.

“I still wish I didn’t get [vaccinated], to be honest with you,” Wiggins told FanSided.

Andrew Wiggins would elaborate on his latest take.

“I did it, and I was an All-Star this year and champion, so that was the good part, just not missing out on the year, the best year of my career,” he added. “But for my body, I just don’t like putting all that stuff in my body, so I didn’t like that and I didn’t like that it wasn’t my choice. I didn’t like that it was either get this or don’t play.”

Because Andrew Wiggins got the vaccine, he had a career, year, became an NBA champion, shedded the “bust label”, and will now make a whole lot of money on his next contract.

Yeah, I’d say it was worth it. Regardless of what he’s saying now.
