Danny Amendola is calling it a career.
The small receiver announced his retirement last night via a tweet from Adam Schefter.
“It was better than I could have ever imagined,” Amendola told ESPN’s Adam Schefter about his career. He later tweeted highlights of his career, with the caption: “Wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Amendola’s girlfriend Jean Watts also took to Social Media to react to her boyfriend’s retirement announcement. She posted a touching tribute to her guy.

Amendola’s girlfriend also posted a pic from what appears to be Amendola’s retirement party.
We first linked Watts and Amendola back in 2020.
Looks like things are going very well for Amendola and Watts.
Amendola spent 13 seasons in the league, including stops with the Rams, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Detroit Lions and Houston Texans. He won two Super Bowl titles with New England, in 2014 and ’16, and was part of the All-Decade Team for the Patriots.
