Boxer Tom Schwarz is a man that has plenty of detractors.

Why you ask? Well the heavyweight boxer barely avoided prison after breaking his ex-fiancee’s jaw back in May 2020. His fiancé at the time had to undergo three operations, in which four plates and 16 screws were inserted into her jaw.

Schwarz fought last weekend, and some people were not very pleased to see him have a platform. In fact, two women in particular were really not happy about Schwarz fighting. They protested Schwarz by going topless before the fight, but not in a sexy way, the two had messages scrolled on their chests..

“End male violence”

“Support Tessa”

More Via Daily Star:

“According to German publication Bild, the two women, who had “End male violence” and “Support Tessa” written across their breasts, charged at Schwarz before the fight to protest against him, yelling “no stage for perpetrators”. Schwarz was taking part in his first boxing match since being charged with dangerous bodily harm against his former girlfriend, named Tessa.

The reports says the 27-year-old heavyweight avoided a prison sentence of up to 10 years in lieu of a €2,500 payment to the state treasury. Despite the lenient punishment, it was proven during the trial that he broke his ex-fiancee’s jaw three times in May 2020.”

Unfortunately the women’s messages didn’t influence the outcome of the fight.

Schwarz made short work of his opponent, winning the fight in just under 28 seconds remaining in the first round. Bild reports Schwarz shed tears at his victory and kept shouting “I’m back” to the 600-strong crowd.

We’ll have to wait and see if the topless protestors will be back for his next fight.
