Could Conor McGregor foil Elon Musk’s plans to purchase twitter?

On Sunday morning, The Notorious took to social media to announce that he was “buying Twitter”.

Shortly after, Conor McGregor deleted the tweet, he made it clear that he was likely just trying to mess around and get a rise out of the people (as always).

Elon Musk’s deal to purchase Twitter went through a couple of weeks ago, but it was revealed this week that there was a snag in the whole process.

“Twitter deal temporarily on hold pending details supporting calculation that spam/fake accounts do indeed represent less than 5% of users,” Musk tweeted on Friday.

Perhaps the door is open for someone else to buy Twitter. But that won’t be Conor McGregor, at least we don’t think so. But with that guy, who really knows?
