Sometimes New York Yankees fans can be the absolute worst, and that was evident on Tuesday night.

At the end of one half inning, Aaron Judge was trying to give a souvenir ball to a kid, but a grown man reached his hand in and basically stole the ball straight out of the kid’s mitt.

Check out the awful move:

The Yankees fan base was trashed following the man stealing the ball intended for the young kid.

Even Yankees broadcaster Paul O’Neil slammed the fan after cameras caught the whole situation.

“That’s grand theft!” Paul O’Neill said on the call for YES Network. “Look at that. Little guy tried to get it in his glove.”

According to fans on social media who claimed to be in that section, the young fan was given a couple of baseballs by security to try to make things right.

Be better, Yankees fans.
