Washington Nations GM Mike Rizzo is not going to be a very popular man with his fan base.

This morning, it has been reported that the Nationals and Padres have agreed upon a massive trade that will send 23 year old superstar Juan Soto to San Diego.

Shortly after the trade was announced, Nets GM Mike Rizzo was getting trashed all over the web for fans who believe he got ‘fleeced’ in the Juan Soto deal.

At a certain point, Mike Rizzo will have to face the media. And by the tone on social media, that appears to be a pretty daunting task.

Earlier in the season, it was reported that Rizzo tried to get an extension done with Juan Soto. But after the young outfielder turned down over $400 Million, a trade became a likely scenario.

Now, the San Diego Padres have reaped the benefits of having the right prospect mix to satisfy Mike Rizzo. And Nationals fans might be shaking their heads for a long, long time.

Things are getting wild at the Trade Deadline.
