Former ace pitcher, Matt Harvey, has had a long fall from grace. And things went from bad to even worse today.

After admitting to giving drugs to former Angles teammate Tyler Skaggs during his wrongful death trail, the MLB announced today that they were handing down a 60 game suspension to Harvey.

Not only did Matt Harvey admit to giving pills to Tyler Skaggs before his overdose. But he also revealed that he had taken  percocets in the clubhouse, as well as developing a cocaine habit away from the field.

Shortly after his revelation, former Mets manager Terry Collins opened up on noticing Harvey had a drug problem back int he day.

“There was a testing program going on throughout Major League Baseball. We weren’t allowed to do any of our own stuff,” Collins said. “There were accusations that were being thrown around the clubhouse, for sure, but I had no proof of it at all. I can just tell you what guys were saying.

Recently, Matt Harvey had been signed to a minor league deal by the Baltimore Orioles. But we’ll see if that holds up following his lengthy suspension.
