Joey Votto Deletes Cringey TikTok After Receiving Some Backlash

Fans are calling on the Cincinnati Reds to free Joey Votto after they've made it clear that they're not serious about building a contender in the near future

Despite his team trading a way a good portion of its core, it appears that Joey Votto is living his best life.

The veteran first baseman joined TikTok this month, and has already been joining in on some of the top trending dances on the app.

But perhaps he took things a little bit too far with his latest. Votto — dressed in full Harry Potter attire — tried to mimic a dance from one of the younger, popular TikTokkers, and it didn’t go so well.

Despite his team entering rebuild mode, Joey Votto remains one of the best hitters in the game.

On opening Day, Votto drove in one run in the Reds’ 6-3 win over the defending World Series champion Atlanta Braves.

Perhaps Joey Votto’s Reds can surprise some people this year. But either way, he’s making it clear that he’s going to be have some fun as he hits the twilight of his career.
