Dodgers catcher Will Smith might have to change his name.

Now, any time anyone hears his name, the first thing that’ll come to people’ minds is when Will Smith the actor slapped the sh-t out of Chris Rock during The Oscars.

In a funny move, fans actually booed Will Smith the catcher during an appearance in a Spring Training game on Thursday afternoon.

Check it out:

After being booed, Will Smith proceeded to slap (pun intended) a triple down the line.

Will Smith (the catcher) is actually the second MLB player who shares the name with the famous actor.

Longtime left-handed reliever Will Smith played a vital role on the World Series champion Atlanta Braves last season — pitching to a respectable tune of a 3.44 ERA.

It’s safe to say Will Smith the actor is ruining the name for people all over the world following his viral Oscars moment.
