St. Louis Cardinals announcer Jim Edmonds finds himself trending during games a lot due to a broadcasting style that doesn’t necessarily jive well with all of his fan base.

But on Tuesday night, it was a dirty joke that has him going viral all over the web.

After Jim Edmonds’ comments, a long, awkward pause took over the airwaves, before the broadcast team got back to their regular scheduled programming.

Edmonds spent the bulk of his storied career as the center fielder for the Cardinals, and it best known for making some of the most jaw-dropping catches we’ve ever seen out there.

But perhaps he should chill out just a little bit on the broadcasts.
