Tiger Woods Gives Short Answer When Asked About Mindset Heading Into PGA Championship

Tiger Woods took to Twitter to hilariously troll Phil Mickelson after winning the PGA Tour's PIP bonus that Phil had thought he won

For the first time since his return to at The Masters, Tiger Woods is gearing up for a tournament this weekend.

Woods has been at Southern Hills all week long getting prepared for the PGA Championship. And when asked how his injured leg feels compared to his physical shape earlier in the year, Woods admitted that he’s in much better condition.

“It’s only going to keep getting stronger,” Woods told ESPN Sunday. “The more I use it, the more strength it gains. Am I ever going to have full mobility? No. Never again. But I’ll be able to get stronger. It’s going to ache, but that’s the way it’s going to be.”

Today, Tiger Woods was asked if he legitimately believes he can compete this weekend. And of course, his answer was short but telling.

Tiger Woods has a star-studded pairing for the first round of the PGA Championship as he’s set to tee it up with longtime rivals Jordan Spieth and Rory McIlroy.

Going forward, we’ll hope to see Woods competing to win in some of the top majors. But for now, it’s just cool to see him playing again after we were certain his career was in jeopardy following last year’s scary crash.

However, Tiger Woods isn’t one to play just to do it…he expects to win this weekend.
