Stephen A. Smith the President?

Stephen A. Smith is at the very top of the food chain when it comes to highly influential sports media members, he has one of the biggest platform on the Mothership as ESPN’s #1 paid employee. The network utilizes him in as many ways as possible, he’s a guy who is going to create plenty of headlines, just like this one above. Could Stephen A. Smith’s popularity and face recognition carry over outside of the sports media landscape? Well, Stephen A. Smith told ESPN colleague Paul Finebaum he would “strongly consider” running to be the President of the United States of America. You heard that right, the actual Presidency of the United States of America.

You can watch Stephen A. Smith drop the Presidency talk below:

Now whether or not Stephen A. would is being serious, or really have a fighting chance doesn’t matter, because it would be appointment television. Can you imagine the ratings for the debates. Stephen A. is used to fake debates about sports, but real life arguing is a whole different ball of wax.

This announcement from Stephen A. came the exact same day he went on a rant about how horrible the New York Jets are during First Take.

Now that’s Stephen A. Smith’s wheelhouse, stay in your lane Stephen A., leave the Politics to the Politicians.
