Surprising Front-Runner Emerging For Bronny James

The Bronny James sweepstakes are heating up.

This week, LeBron’s oldest son was trending all over the web after throwing down a vicious dunk in a high school game.

Check out the explosive move below:

Now, Bronny James has another team reportedly leading the charge for a 2023 commit: the Oregon Ducks.

Per According to Jamie Shaw of On3, Oregon, USC and Ohio State are all making a charge for James’ services.

“We are told James is going to go through the process,” Shaw wrote. “At this point, the plan is to take virtual visits, Zooms, and in-person visits and go through the whole experience. Sources tell us that at this point, Oregon has a lead and that James will end up in Eugene.”

Obviously, Oregon’s ties with Nike founder Phil Knight could lead to endless NIL opportunities for Bronny James. But he could probably get some serious money no matter what school he lands on.

In fact, earlier in the month Bronny was reportedly smitten with a smaller school in Rutgers.

“One school making an unexpected push to recruit James is Rutgers, a basketball striver.” Adam Zagoria of the New York Times wrote (h/t 247Sports). “As far-fetched as it might seem, Rutgers is hoping Coach Steve Pikiell’s strong record of development — turning lightly regarded recruits such as Geo Baker, Ron Harper Jr. and Myles Johnson into decorated Big Ten players — carries some appeal to James.”

For now, it appears as though Bronny James is keeping his options wide open… as he should.
