Gambling can be a tricky business.
One gambler has a million reasons to be very upset following the NCAA championship game that featured UNC and Kansas. The Bettor lost a $1 million bet due to a bonheaded play. Kansas committed the boneheaded out of bounds play, and it was costly. Prior to the game, Kansas was labeled as a 4-4.5 point favorite at most major sportsbooks. It appeared that KU was going to cover the spread at the free-throw line when they had the ball while up 72-69 with 4.6 seconds left.
That’s when a big turnover occurred, as the Jayhawks had issues inbounding the ball and turned it over on a bizarre out-of-bounds play.

As a result of the turnover, the Jayhawks failed to cover.

One bettor in particular really felt the sting:
Think you had a #MarchMadness sweat?
One bettor at @STNSportsApp had a $1 million wager on Kansas -4.
That inbounds pass turnover cost him dearly.

You win some, you lose some, but the hope is the losses aren’t going to crush your soul. That one certainly did for that bettor.
