Drake Makes Extremely Large Bet on Jose Aldo in UFC 278

Fans are convinced one team is going to win the Super Bowl after Drake posted a massive bet on the game on his Instagram account

Drake loves to gamble.

If there’s one celebrity who is known for sports gambling it would have to be Canadian singer/rapper Drake. He’s been taking the betting world by storm, and he’s definitely not afraid to put his money where his mouth is. He’s been so brash about his betting at times, you have to wonder if he’s actually a successful gambler. There are rumors that he has even placed bets of over $1m on certain online casino games. With him also having a strong interest in crypto, and a portfolio to go with that interest, it seems like a perfect fit that he get involved in Stake Casino.

But as we know, Drake is all about sports gambling. This weekend the Canadian crooner is betting on UFC 278. Drake has bet nearly a quarter of a million dollars on Jose Aldo to beat Merab Dvalishvili.

Jose Aldo has been fighting in UFC for well over a decade and  is now ranked No. 3 in the world in the 135-pound weight class, thanks to three consecutive wins over Top 10 competition.  Merab Dvalishvili is heading into this fight on seven-fight win streak.

Of course Aldo should possibly be worried about Drake betting on him. Although the ‘Drake curse’ has officially been debunked, it’s never good to have a bad luck charm on your side, as some still believe Drake is.
