WFT’s Head Coach Ron Rivera ‘Not Apologizing for Winning’

The Washington Football Team may not have a nickname, but they sure do have one hell of a coach, and he’s not sorry. Washington’s head coach Ron Rivera is sending out a message for anyone who is pissed that the Philadelphia Eagles benched quarterback Jalen Hurts in the fourth quarter of a close game: Too bad.

“You play who’s out there,” he said. “I’m not apologizing for winning.”

Ron Rivera’s season speaks for itself:

The Washington Football Team ended up winning the NFC East with a 7-9 record, finishing a game ahead of the New York Giants.

Ron Rivera shouldn’t have to apologize for playing in the NFC East either. Terrible division, terrible way to win it. But always better to be the best among the worst.
