The two men fought in a blood bath 5-round main event Saturday. Holloway landed 251 total strikes while Rodriguez landed 186. The two looked absolutely horrific following the fight, but Holloway was able to take home the unanimous decision victory.

After the fight, Rodriguez was put in the ambulance for medics to take care of him and to make sure everything was ok with him. Holloway came out of the arena to show his respect to his fellow combatant.

It’s incredible that both of these men can still even talk at this point following the pounding they took to their faces and head.

Here are the two right after the final bell hugging it out.

Here is some of the action from the fights.

The two showed their strength and bravery to stand in and exchange heavy hands for 25 full minutes.

Are we going to see the trilogy between Holloway and current 135 champion, Alexander Volkanovski? Only time will tell, but Holloway continues to crush opponents sine dropping the two fights to Volkanovski.
