Tom Brady Finally Answers “What More Do You Have To Prove?” Question

No matter what Tom Brady does for the rest of his career, he will be considered the greatest NFL player of all time. And yet, at 44-years of age, Brady refuses to walk away from football.

After winning his seventh Super Bowl, Tom Brady’s wife, Gisele Bundchen publicly posed the question: ‘What more do you have to prove?’

While it took Brady some time to understand how to answer the question, he did shed some light during an appearance on “Late Late Show With James Corden” on Wednesday night.

“It’s hard to walk away from something that you still feel like you can do and you want to do,” Tom Brady told Corden. “So it’s not about proving it to others what you can do, it’s more about proving it to yourself. And I still feel like even though I’ll be 44 this year, I still have a chance to still prove it to myself that I can still do it at 44, because I really worked to a point where I can still do it at this age.”

While Tom Brady is widely considered the GOAT by anyone who isn’t out of their mind, he told Corden that he doesn’t really view it that way.

“Really. You never sit and think, ‘at what I do, I’m the best,’” Corden asked.

“It’s like saying what do you like better — steak, fish, chicken,” Brady said.

“Steak,” Corden interjected.

Earlier in the offseason, Tom Brady revealed when he might think about walking away from the game he has dedicated his life to.

Brady said that he has two years remaining on his deal with the Bucs. And when that ends, he’ll likely see where he’s at.

Needless to say, Tom Brady has already conquered father time. If the wheels haven’t fallen off in his mid-40s, they just never might.
