Steph Curry Believes Teams Still Want to Beat Them for Payback for Dynasty Years

It wasn’t that long ago the Golden State Warriors were the clear cut alpha dogs of the NBA. They were a dynasty, and had one of the best stretches of any team, ever. Following Sunday night’s blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Steph said he still believes opponents get amped up to play the Warriors,  and as a result, the opposing teams bring their ‘A’ game.

“Teams still want to beat us and beat us bad,” he said, per Connor Letourneau of the San Francisco Chronicle. “They still have a lot of memories from the last five years.”

Steph definitely is living in the past.

Like one tweet mentioned, no one is marking their calendars for the Warriors.

Petty comment from Steph.
