Russell Wilson Speaks On The Latest Trade Rumors Surrounding Him

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been the subject of a lot of trade talk over the past several months.

It all started in the offseason – when Russ voiced his displeasure for not having more of a say in terms of roster decisions. That resulted in a whole media firestorm. And many were convinced he would be traded somewhere on his list of teams he would waive his no-trade clause for.

In the end, Russell Wilson showed up to the Seahawks. But amid a season marred by disappointment, many are wondering if we’ll be hearing some more rumors this offseason.

And to add fuel to that fire, it was reported that Wilson would be willing to play for three teams who desperately need a quarterback next season: the Giants, Broncos or Saints.

During his media availability on Thursday, Russell Wilson once again slammed the trade rumors. And he even added that he wants to be playing in Seattle for 20 years.

Russell Wilson seemed to get back on track last week against the Niners – leading his team to a big, upset victory.

But with Wilson’s Seahawks sitting at an underwhelming 4-8, the QB would really have to put on his Superman cape to lead them on any postseason run this year.

For now, Russell Wilson remains wholly focused on righting the ship in Seattle. But we’ll keep track of how long that lasts once the team officially misses out on their 2021-22 season goals.
