Raiders Players Spotted Maskless at Las Vegas Event

If the NFL season is going to continue safely, players must do their part.

Raiders owner Mark Davis is looking into why several players were not wearing masks while attending a charity event held by teammate Darren Waller that broke Nevada rules for the coronavirus pandemic and might have violated NFL regulations.

Players were seen on video without masks at the indoor event while talking and mingling with guests, who also weren’t wearing masks.

Davis voiced his concerns to the Las Vegas Review Journal:

“We obviously take responsibility for this,” Davis said on Tuesday. “You don’t like seeing this. I don’t know that it’s actually been built into our memories that you have to wear a mask. Our organization takes it very seriously.”

The Las Vegas event was in support of Waller’s foundation, which helps young adults addicted to drugs and alcohol.

Great event for a great cause, but that doesn’t mean the NFL players shouldn’t be following NFL protocol.
