People are Apologizing to Mitch Trubisky Following Historically Awful Bears Offensive Performance

Justin Fields’ first NFL start didn’t go exactly as planned. The Bears put up their worst offensive outing in over 40 years, mustering only 47 yards of total offense. The Bears’ offensive struggles are nothing new for this Nagy offense, which has only gotten worse with each passing year. Former Bears quarterback Mitch Trubisky was the scapegoat for the offense’s woes.

They decided not to sign him when he became a free agent.

Now everyone is feeling like they owe Trubisky an apology.

Trubisky wasn’t as bad as he was made out to be. Was he great? Not by any stretch of the imgainetion, but he did get the Bears to the playoffs.
