Fans Aren’t Buying Russell Wilson’s Ridiculous Claim About His Rehab

Russell Wilson returned from a hand injury this weekend against the Packers, and clearly didn’t look right.

The future Hall of Fame was stifled by the Green Bay defense all day long, leading Seattle to a shut out loss 17-0 at Lambeau Field.

After the game, Russell Wilson talked about how he was able to cut his rehab in half with a vigorous and demanding plan of attack.

“We probably spent 19 or 20 hours a day working on this hand, trying to break records with this thing,’’ Wilson said. “It was a pretty severe injury in the sense of how many things happened. I think for me, my whole mindset was to cut the time in half, and that has been my mindset since the moment that it happened.”

It’s safe to say nobody was buying Russell Wilson’s claim.

Perhaps Russell Wilson would have been better off if he would have just taken another week of based on how serious he and the media are making this injury seem.

In his return to action, Wilson was missing receivers and throwing uncharacteristic passes left and right. He completed just 20 of 40 passes for 161 yards and two interceptions.

Now, Russell Wilson’s Seahawks find themselves at 3-6, with a mountain to climb if they want to sneak into the playoff conversation in the NFC.
