Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott wasn’t happy with the officiating in the playoff game against the Niners last weekend.
All game, the crew was making some suspect calls. But the most controversial play came at the end when the Cowboys were trying to get a spike before the clock ran out. Despite all the players being lined up, the official couldn’t get the ball spotted in time for Prescott and the offense to get a snap away.
It was a bizarre ending to a playoff game; to say the least.

After the game, Cowboys fans were throwing garbage all over the field. And when he was told the debris was being aimed at the refs, Dak Prescott gave ‘credit’ to the unruly fans.
“Credit to them,” he said, according to Dallas Morning News reporter Michael Gehlken.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott disparaged fans for throwing bottles, debris at players. Then Prescott was told the fans were aiming for officiating crew. Prescott retracted. “A credit to them then.”

On Tuesday, the National Basketball Referees Association sent out a statement to condemn Dak Prescott for his disparaging comments made towards officials.

Dak Prescott has not yet apologized for his comments.
Apparently, the bond between refs goes beyond the sport they’re working in. And now, refs from all different leagues and sports have each others backs amid the backlash.
Honestly, though, Dak Prescott should have been more concerned with missed opportunities all game than the last play that didn’t go his way.
