Najee Harris Calls Out MNF Crew For Wrongly Saying He Slept On Floor During His Time At Alabama

Like ESPN loves to do, they started giving background on Steelers running back Najee Harris’ troubled childhood while he was racking up yards during Monday Night Football.

The broadcast went in detail about how the bruising back grew up homeless. And during one of their anecdotes, claimed that he slept on the floor when he was attending Alabama.

“He said he was just more comfortable, he was more used to that,” Steve Levy said on the air.

The only problem with all of that – Najee Harris said it’s completely not true.

Harris took to social media almost immediately after the game to declare that he did, in fact, sleep in his bed during his time with the Crimson Tide.

Najee Harris did spend some time in homeless shelters alongside his siblings growing up. And during last year’s draft, held the part at one of the local shelters.

But obviously, ESPN did a lazy job during their research and messed up some important details when trying to glorify the whole story.

Just call the damn game if you’re going to talk wrongly about a man’s life story. ESPN owes Najee Harris an apology.
