Michael Jordan’s Pizza Delivery Guy Responds to ‘Last Dance’ Pizza Tainting Allegations [INTERVIEW]

One big revelation from the “last dance” of ‘The Last Dance’ was that the legendary “Michael Jordan flu game” in the 1998 NBA Finals may have actually been the “Michael Jordan pizza game.” Both Jordan and his trainer, Tim Grover, stated in the documentary that Jordan became extremely ill after eating a pizza in his Park City hotel room before Game 5 against the Utah Jazz.

One noteworthy highlight of the story is that five people delivered the pizza that allegedly sickened His Airness which Jordan’s trainer and Jordan’s best friend, George Koehler, found to be odd. M.J. was the only one to consume the pizza in question among the group.

Today, the pizza maker himself, local man Craig Fite, came forward to respond to the pizza tainting allegations and he adamantly denied them on “The Big Show” with Jake Scott and Gordon Monson. Fite, who was the assistant manager at the Pizza Hut that Jordan ordered the pizza from, deemed the story “a bunch of crap.”

Fite also claims that only two people delivered the pizza and that he is actually a Bulls fan who named his son after Michael Jordan.
