Miami Heat Have Been ‘Concerned For Months’ About Tyler Herro Acting Like A Celebrity Despite Poor Play

The Miami Heat are beginning to push the panic button on young guard Tyler Herro. The Kentucky product became a phenom during last year’s magical run to the NBA Championship. He’s also turned into a bit of a big deal off the court.

Herro is currently dating model Katya Elise Henry after sliding into her DMs during the quarantine. The newest rumor is that Herro and Kayta are expecting a baby.

With all this noise centered around the young rising star Herro, the Miami Heat organization is getting concerned.

On their “Inside the Paint” podcast, Miami Heat beat writers Ethan Skolnick and Ira Winderman talked about the level of concern with Tyler Herro.

Ira Winderman: Tyler Herro chose to become a celebrity,” “He chose to become something outside the game, as is his right. With his breakfast cereal, and his Tyler Tuesdays, and his Chipotle Bowl and that’s all well and good. But you know what? Other players when they see a player doing that before they’ve truly reached it. I don’t know if I want to say there’s a jealousy. … They sort of take a scant view of the guy and say, ‘Wait a minute buddy. You haven’t done anything yet

Ethan Skolnick: “Ultimately, the team starts to get a certain level of concern,” “In this particular case, the team has been concerned now for months.”

Tyler Herro is still just 21-years-old, but it’s clear that the Heat were expecting him to make a bigger leap into stardom this year, and he’s taken a step back a little.

I still think he’s going to be a really good player in the league, but the team seems to think that he’s getting a little too wrapped up in everything going on in his life away from the game.
