Marvin Vettori Almost Went To Blows With Karl Roberson At Their Hotel After Their UFC Fight Was Called Off

As I write this, UFC Jacksonville is about to start with some more gigantic tournaments across the GPP industry. And for as fired up as you or I may be for this card and some MMA DFS action, it seems like Marvin Vettori is just as fired up after his 185 pound fight against Karl Roberson was canceled.

Vettori-Roberson is UFC’s second canceled fight within the last week of its new COVID-19 era cards. While Jacare Souza’s fight was canceled after he and two cornermen tested positive for Coronavirus, the Vettori-Roberson fight was canceled because of complications related to Roberson’s weight cut. It’s now the third time Vettori has had a fight canceled since the pandemic issues popped up and, as you may guess by his admittedly charming accentful cursing, my Italian brethren’s fiery nature may have reared its head in frustration for the lost fight where Vettori was a -170 favorite. Despite his initial amusement, Karl Roberson may have been in for a world of hurt in that hotel or the Octagon.

Here’s hoping that Vettori gets his shot at the limelight soon before he evokes another one of our Italian brothers in “Super” Mario Mario and stomps on the heads of everyone around.

PS I’m going to be so titled that I’m not an MMA DFS savant if I run bad after the showing I had with a GPP bink in my first go round:

Marvin Vettori and I may need an Italiano buddy comedy style teamup for vengeance depending upon how UFC on ESPN+ 29 in Jacksonville goes down tonight. Fear our shared love for carbs, cheese, and towers that become a tourist attraction because they were constructed haphazardly.
