Manchester United’s stars aren’t aligning with the proposed controversial breakaway. Just so you know.

European Super League has been trending since the morning of Monday, and so much has happened within this time.

But ahead of it’s official announcement on Sunday, Bruno Fernandes has lent his voice thus, becoming the first player of the Super League clubs to break silence.

Responding to an Instagram post from fellow countryman Podence, the Red Devils midfielder wrote, ‘Enorme’ while he reposted it to his story. Dreams can never be bought, really.

Here’s what Podence’s post said..

The ball. The song. The dream. The Zidane’s volley… Kaka’s solo… Liverpool in Athens… Ole in Barcelona… Cris and Seedorf… There some (sic) things we just can’t really pay for.

And he’s not alone. At least we know who and who are not amongst the snakes within. Marcus Rashford, has also spoken up with a really strong picture message.

Who would have thought, that it would come to this. That football suddenly beholds a round-robin league where there are no victors, and no vanquished. Where there are no promotions and no demotions. Just big wigs strutting the stuff for the sake of the money. Not me, not you.

F**k that. F**k European Super League. This is not football, if we are to be honest. At least not football the way we know it. There are still chances this doesn’t come to fruition, and thankfully, it’s not just the fans that aren’t down for it.
